Acceptance of Terms

By using the services of Lux Taxi Lugano, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services.

Service Description

Lux Taxi Lugano provides professional transportation services including, but not limited to:

• Airport transfers
• Hotel pickups and drop-offs
• Group transportation
• Business and executive travel
• Event and wedding transportation

All services are provided based on availability and prior booking.

Payment Terms:

• The fixed fare is agreed and confirmed when you book, and is generally settled before the ride begins.
• For advance or long-distance bookings we send payment instructions (TWINT, card, or bank transfer) to confirm the reservation; for local rides the driver takes payment at pickup.
• Accepted payment methods: cash, credit or debit card, TWINT, and bank transfer.

Cancellations and Refunds

• 100% refund for cancellations made more than 24 hours before pickup.
• 50% refund for cancellations made between 6 and 24 hours before pickup.
• No refund for cancellations made less than 6 hours before pickup.
• No-show: No refund if the client fails to appear within 15 minutes of the scheduled pickup without prior notice.
• Client delays: A 15-minute grace period is included. Beyond that, waiting fees may apply or the ride may be cancelled.
• Company cancellations: If Lux Taxi Lugano cancels the service, a full refund or alternative solution will be offered.

Delays and Liability

Lux Taxi Lugano aims to provide timely and safe transport. However:

• We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, or unforeseen events
• We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings during transport
• We recommend that customers hold valid travel insurance for their journey

Changes to Terms

Lux Taxi Lugano reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be published on our website and will take effect immediately unless otherwise stated.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, specifically the applicable laws of the Canton of Ticino, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
